Giving - FINANCIAL SUPPORT
"All things come from you, O Lord, and of your own do we give you." (1 Chronicles 29.14)
These words are taken from King David's prayer at the consecration of the Temple and recall the people of Israel's understanding that we have nothing of our own - only what God has given. In response to God’s gracious generosity, Christians are called to give towards his mission in the world.

PARISH GIVING SCHEME (“PGS”) NEWS.
From the Bishop of Lewes:
“Churches are built on vision. If they close, it is often because of lack of money. Money is a two-edged sword: it’s an essential re-source for effective mission, but lack of money in a community or a household can generate a lot of worry. This is why our diocese is so committed to the Parish Giving Scheme. While not pretending to be a magic solution to parish financial worries, it is such a help to the management of regular donor income that I cannot help but commend it to you. The diocese has provided local parishes with this powerful mechanism as a sign of our commitment to Christian growth in local communities. Please use it!”
