The Buxted and Hadlow Down Parochial Church Council (PCC) is commited to safeguarding children and adults, ensuring that workers and volunteers are selected with care, supported and trained. The parish is registered with the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS) for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, and we follow Diocesan guidelines for safer recruitment.  The PCC reviews policies, policy statements and implementation procedures annually; two policy statements have been agreed by the PCC at a recent meeting.

Above all, our aim is for all children and adults to be safe from harm both in society as a whole, and in the church community.
